Kindly text your address (with directions if location is new) 2days in advance. Pandit ji will be available there 30 mins prior of scheduled puja time to arrange the puja items accordingly.

Many devotees join us in the New year celebrations to make it more memorable and successful.
In 2022, We had over 400 devotees at bhog in the afternoon and over 225 for bhog after Sunderkand Paath.

Rath Yatra 2022
Dear Devotees,
For many years, Devotees in North Texas had wished for a neighborhood temple in Plano to worship Shree Jagannatha Parivaar. The installation of the dieties thereby completed Shree Raghunath Temple as Char Dham.

HISTORY
May 7,2019: Installation of the Deities.
July 4,2019: Rathayatra Year 1 commenced.
Oct 4, 2019: New Deities were procured from Puri, Odisha
Nov 15, 2019: Bhumi Pujan Ceremony.
Mar 9-11, 2020: Prana Pratistha of the new dieties in the auspicious presence of our own Shri Gajapati Maharaj.
Oct 24, 2020: Installation of Goddess Mahalakshmi
DIETIES SHRINGAR
Mahaprabhu Jagannatha Parivaar’s shringar is done using beautiful Mukta’s, Mala’s, Chita’s, sarees (Pata, etc). Our temple Panditji’s and team of talented designers/volunteers work effortlessly to plan and enhance the dieities overall look to provide a mesmerizing experience for our devotees.

RATH & BAHUDA YATRA
The Yatra is one of the biggest Hindu festival and it’s organized every year at your own neighbourhood Shree Raghunath Temple. It is celebrated on Dwitiya Tithi during Shukla Paksha of Ashada month (June-July).
Many Devotees join us in the celebration from different places in the US to get a glimpse of Mahaprabhu Jagannatha Parivaar and participate in this festival.
BESA:
Mahaprabhu Jagannatha Parivaar is dressed up in beautiful different besa’s (Gajanan Besa, Shringar Besa etc.)

HIGHLIGHTS – YATRA 2021:
Glimpse of the RATHA:
The chariot is almost 38 foot tall and is made at the temple premises. The Ratha construction was a collaborative effort put in by the temple trustees, many volunteers and the devotees. Every year, many volunteers gather to assemble the Ratha.Once assembled, it is beautifully decorated, painted by group of community volunteers who are great artists. Many elders, parents and their kids join us in the temple premises – backside during the Rath yatra time to work towards making it a delighful journey for the Lord.
